The final of the 5th CASS Student Design Competition (SDC) 2020-2021 will be held in virtual format from 18:00 to 19:00 (GMT+9) on Saturday May 22 and from 13:00 to 14:00 (GMT+9) on Sunday May 23. A judging panel will evaluate the finalist works and select the winner. The decision of the panel shall be final and the winner will be announced during the ISCAS Closing Ceremony from 17:40 to 18:10 (GMT+9) on Friday May 28.

During the live session, each team will have 15 minutes for demo presentation and 10 minutes for Q&A (the moderator will select questions submitted by the online attendees via chat). The presentations will be recorded and the videos will be available at the Ad-hoc delegate encounter space for further discussion. The final will be broadcasted by Facebook Live or a similar platform.

The CAS Society will cover the registration fees of at most 3 students per team. Students must be IEEE CASS Student Members. The team winning the final competition will be awarded a prize of $3,000 USD. More details about the competition and the official rules are reported here.
